REMOVAL OF YAHOO FROM WINDOWS 11

If Yahoo is showing up as an app or program in Windows 11, use these Windows removal steps first:

1. Restart the PC: Start > Power > Restart.
2. Try uninstalling it from Settings: Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
3. Find the app or program, select it, then choose Uninstall.
4. If the app shows Advanced options, try Repair first, then Reset if needed.
5. If Windows shows a troubleshooter or recovery prompt during uninstall, follow it.

If the item is suspicious or behaves like malware:

1. Run a scan with Windows Security.
2. Remove the app only after threats are cleaned.

For some preinstalled apps, Windows also supports uninstalling from Start by right-clicking the app and selecting Uninstall.

If uninstall still fails, Windows 10 includes a Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter for corrupted uninstall data or registry issues. For Windows 11, use the built-in recovery and uninstall steps above.
