Lost files and pass key for LTSC Office Pro Plus 2024

The route to recovering the license depends on how the copy was obtained. Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 is a volume licensed product rather than a retail one, so the path runs through whoever holds the license:

• Purchased through an employer or organization: Contact the organization's IT or licensing administrator. The administrator can retrieve the deployment configuration and MAK key, or confirm whether activation uses KMS or Active Directory. • Purchased from an authorized Microsoft partner: Contact that partner with the invoice or order number and request access to the license again.
• Purchased through an online marketplace or key website: Contact the seller. Be cautious here, as an individual "LTSC Professional Plus" key may be an unauthorized resale of a volume license.
• Purchased directly from Microsoft: Check the order history of the account used for the purchase.

Deleting the installer is not normally a problem. A legitimate organization can download the latest Office Deployment Tool and install Office LTSC using the PerpetualVL2024 channel and the ProPlus2024Volume product ID. The activation method must still come from the organization's valid volume license.

Searching your mailbox for the order confirmation, including junk and archive folders, is the quickest way to establish which of the above applies.
