I have error to open Word and Power Point on Mac

Since both Word and PowerPoint are crashing immediately when they start, this looks more like an Office installation/update, preference, or macOS compatibility issue than a problem with a particular Word document or PowerPoint presentation.

First, please make sure macOS and Office are fully updated. This is especially important now because Microsoft made changes affecting Office for Mac in July 2026. Microsoft recommends updating macOS first and then installing the latest Office updates.

If you cannot keep Word or PowerPoint open long enough to update them, quit all Office applications and open Microsoft AutoUpdate directly from Finder. It may also be located here: /Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MAU2.0/

Install all available Office updates, restart the Mac, and test Word and PowerPoint again. Microsoft recently used this same update procedure to resolve a macOS Office launch/licensing issue.

If both applications still crash, next, test from a new macOS user account. If Word and PowerPoint work there, that points toward something in the original user's Office preferences/profile rather than the Office application installation itself. Microsoft troubleshooting also identifies corrupted preferences, user-profile issues, background applications, and damaged application files as possible causes of Word startup crashes.

If they also crash in the new macOS account, the next step is a complete Office uninstall/reinstall rather than repeatedly reinstalling only Word or PowerPoint.

Also, could you post the top portion of the crash report, particularly the lines containing:

Application Name / Process, Application Version, macOS Version, Exception Type, Exception Codes, and Crashed Thread

Those fields are much more useful for identifying the cause than the memory-size values shown in the screenshot. Please remove any personal information before posting it.
