Site: [moderator's note: PII removed]

Issue: The entire domain disappeared from Bing search results (brand query "[moderator's note: PII removed]" and site: operator return nothing) between September 18-19, 2026. The site was visible at 23:25 local time on Sep 18 and gone by 00:44.

What I checked:

  • URL Inspection shows all pages as "Indexed" with no errors
  • All crawled pages return HTTP 200
  • robots.txt is clean, no site-wide noindex
  • No manual actions or penalties (Security section shows only empty Copyright Removal Notices)
  • No changes to hosting, CMS, sitemap, or site structure
  • Recent activity: 7 new informational articles published on Sep 18

A support ticket has been submitted via Bing Webmaster Tools support form (case: "Site Not in Index").

Question: Is this a known domain-level quality filter behavior, and is there anything else I should check or provide to speed up re-evaluation?

    An “Indexed” status confirms how Bing has processed the inspected URL, but it does not by itself guarantee that the page will be displayed for a particular search query. Based on the information available here, there is not enough evidence to confirm that a domain-level quality filter or penalty has been applied. The publication of the seven articles may also be part of the timeline, but it should not be treated as the cause unless Bing Support confirms a connection.

    Since you have already submitted a “Site Not in Index” request, I recommend updating that existing case rather than opening duplicate requests. It would be helpful to include:

    • The exact time window when the domain was last visible and first found missing
    • Screenshots of the indexed and live URL Inspection results for the homepage and a few affected internal pages
    • The indexed, excluded, and blocked URL counts shown in Site Explorer
    • The Search Performance data before and after the drop
    • The current sitemap processing status
    • Examples of the brand search and site: query returning no results
    • Confirmation that the canonical URLs still point to the intended domain
