If Microsoft Rewards points were redeemed for a Microsoft or XBOX Gift Card, that reward is deposited directly to the Microsoft account balance as promotional balance. To verify whether it was applied:

1. Open the Rewards dashboard and check Redeem > Order history.
2. Find the reward and review its Status.
3. Open Order Details for the reward.
4. If no confirmation email was received, use Resend from Order History.

If the order was cancelled, common reasons include:

• redeeming in a different region,
• redeeming in multiple regions,
• using a VPN,
• using a VoIP phone number,
• the reward being out of stock or unavailable.

If the order is still not reflected after two months, contact Microsoft Rewards Support using the support form.
