Yes the setting is enabled and I have tried to reset, repair, uninstall and reinstall it but no luck.

Not my keyboard or its drivers either as I just checked.

Win shift and s works but that combination of keys is so infuriating to press for me.

I really need print screen to open the snipping tool in full screen apps.

I know it used to.

On a new isntall on windows as well btw.

Thanks for confirming. We'll have to wait and see if the issue gets fixed in a future update. For now, you'll just have to put up with using Windows + Shift + S as a workaround.

You've already reinstalled Windows twice and the issue didn't occur before, and even third-party snipping apps are affected, so it seems likely that this is a bug. Since a third-party app isn't a suitable alternative in this case, I can only suggest reporting the issue through the Feedback Hub by pressing Windows + F, as that's the only proper channel where Microsoft monitors bug reports like this. For now, I'm afraid you'll have to use Windows + Shift + S as a workaround.

Got it. In that case, we can safely rule out the keyboard as the cause. Have you tried reinstalling the Snipping Tool by removing the package using PowerShell? Right-click the Start button, select Terminal (Admin), then paste this command to remove it:Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* | Remove-AppxPackage

After removing it, restart the computer and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store app then see if it helps.

Sorry for the delayed response. Is your PrtScn key bound to another key, such as the Fn key? If so, try pressing Fn + Esc once to turn off the Function key lock, then see if that helps. Also, have you tried using the On-Screen Keyboard and clicking the PrtScn key there to confirm whether the same issue occurs?

    Hi,

Which specific apps does this happen in? Could you confirm whether the key works when you're not in full-screen mode? Also, have you checked whether pressing the key actually captures the screen and copies it to the clipboard?

You can do a simple test by opening an app in full-screen mode, pressing PrtScn, then opening Paint and pressing Ctrl + V to see if anything was captured.
