I have two monitors connected to my laptop but neither turn on automatically when I power up the laptop and they do not retain windows that were open when my laptop goes to sleep.

    Hi

    Are both monitors connected directly to your laptop or through a docking station? What do you currently have to do to get them working—press their power buttons or reconnect a cable?

    For the window positions, go to Settings > System > Display > Multiple displays and turn on “Remember window locations based on monitor connection.” Then test sleep and wake again.
