Sharing add-ons between games using "Product Relationship Setup" and add-on visibility in the games Product Store Page

Hello,

I have a question about add-on visibility across games when using the Product Relationship Setup feature in the Microsoft Partner Center Portal:

Background

I have two games published under the same publisher account:

  • Game 1: has multiple add-ons created under it
  • Game 2: has no add-ons of its own, but has 1 add-on from Game 1 connected via Product Relationship Setup using the "can use and sell" relationship type

Question

When an add-on is shared between two games via the Product Relationship Setup ("can use and sell"), will that add-on be visible on the Store Product Detail Page (PDP) of both games? Or will it only appear on the PDP of the game it was originally created under?

Testing I have done so far

I have been unable to confirm or discard this behavior through my own testing due to the following limitations I encountered at each stage:

  1. Isolated sandbox: I tested the product relationship in my development sandbox. The Store app does not render private audience add-ons on the parent game's Store page in sandbox environments, so I could not validate the behavior here
  2. RETAIL with Private Audience (Internal Users group): I published both games and the add-on to RETAIL with a private audience. After several hours of propagation, the add-on did not appear on either game's Store page
  3. Current test — RETAIL with Public Audience: I am in the process of publishing to a public audience to eliminate the private audience variable and determine definitively whether the add-on appears on both games' Store pages

Specific questions

  1. Is an add-on shared via "can use and sell" Product Relationship expected to appear on the Store PDP of the second game (the one it was not originally created under)?
  2. Does private audience configuration prevent add-ons from appearing on the parent game's Store page, even for users in the authorized audience group?
  3. If the add-on is not expected to appear on the second game's Store page via the product relationship, is there any supported mechanism to surface it there other than creating a duplicate add-on under the second game?

Thanks in advance for any help!
