Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Dear Jill McDonald,
Please understand that this forum is a public platform, and moderators will modify your question to cover your personal information in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.
Based on the information provided, this appears to be a tenant/domain ownership issue where the domain aquakeywest.com is still associated with an existing Microsoft 365 tenant to which you do not have administrative access.
Unfortunately, as a forum user , I do not have the ability to verify domain ownership, access tenant information, or remove a domain from an existing tenant. These actions can only be performed by Microsoft's Data Protection and support teams after ownership validation has been completed.
Here is my recommendation for your situation:
1/Contact GoDaddy Support and explain that the Microsoft 365 subscription purchased through GoDaddy cannot be provisioned because the domain is currently associated with another Microsoft 365 tenant. Since GoDaddy is your Microsoft 365 provider and you control the domain through them, they may be able to engage Microsoft on your behalf and guide you through the appropriate escalation process. https://www.godaddy.com/help/contact-us

2/Continue working with Microsoft Support and request escalation for a domain ownership verification/domain release scenario. Be sure to reference current support case and explain that the domain is attached to an inaccessible tenant belonging to a previous owner. Contact Microsoft customer support
If you still able to access Admin center portal, you can submit support ticket https://admin.microsoft.com/#/support/requests . In the Microsoft 365 admin center>support>help & support
In case you can't create a support ticket during the call and cannot acccess to Admin center portal, I recommend creating a temporary tenant account and submitting the support request from there. To create a new tenant, follow these steps:
- Visit Office 365 E3 - Enterprise Collaboration and Productivity | Microsoft
- Select any plan and click Try for free.
- Complete the setup to create a new tenant.
- Ticket support: In the Microsoft 365 admin center>support>help & support. You can create a support ticket: https://admin.microsoft.com/#/support/requests
Important: Please remember to cancel the trial subscription once your issue is resolved to avoid any charges.
Be prepared to provide proof of domain ownership and complete any DNS-based verification requested by the support team.
