How do I fix the Special Paste Functions on Excel

Only the basic Paste works on my Excel Worksheet (MOS 365). How would I fix it so the Paste Options and Paste Special Functions and Categories are no longer grayed out or are seen when I click the Paste Menu?

    Hi,

    Please first check this setting in Excel:

    Go to File > Options > Advanced > Cut, copy, and paste, then make sure Show Paste Options button when content is pasted is checked. Restart Excel afterward and test again.

    If Paste Special is still grayed out, please also try Ctrl + Alt + V in a new blank workbook and let me know if the same thing happens there.
