I have a personal Microsoft account and I need to add claude to my excel and it wont let me. I need this done ASAP

Is there a specific error message you ran into?

which Claude add-in did you use? You need specifically the "Claude for Microsoft 365"; do not use the Claude by Anthropic for Excel, or the connector, which will only want Microsoft work/school account.

If you can tell me if you ran into any error, what it says, that will help a lot.

Just want to circle back.

I'm having the same issue on my personal account with a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.

I've noticed a growing number of users reporting the same problem on this forum and tech community, not just this add in, but simply having trouble launching the add in page. I suspect the cause is on Microsoft's side, although there's been no official statement about it yet. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything you can do on your end to fix it.
