Azure / Entra tenant lockout — sole administrator, lost access to MFA

Hello,

I am the sole administrator of my Azure / Microsoft Entra tenant. I recently replaced my phone and no longer have access to the previous device with Microsoft Authenticator.

I can sign in to my personal Microsoft account, but the Azure portal requires MFA verification that I cannot complete. I am not receiving authentication prompts on my new phone, and no other working verification methods are available.

There is no other administrator who could reset my MFA. I also cannot create a support request through the Azure portal because I keep getting redirected to the MFA verification step. Phone support directed me to the website, where I encounter the same sign-in loop.

Please help me open a tenant lockout support case and escalate it to the Data Protection / Tenant Recovery team so they can verify ownership and help me restore access by resetting my MFA registration.

I am ready to provide account details and any available proof of ownership through a private, secure channel.

    I have now also tried to create an Azure support ticket through Azure CLI using the official Tenant Lockout problem classification, but the ticket creation itself is blocked by mandatory MFA with RequestDisallowedByAzure. I therefore have no available way to create a support case myself. Could a Microsoft moderator please engage the Data Protection / Tenant Recovery team and create a support ticket on my behalf? This is now impacting a production service because I cannot update DNS required for Azure Front Door TLS certificate revalidation
