I had the registered charity discount. This past few months I am now being billed regular price. Microsoft has been getting a monthly subscription fee for years from me.

How do I get my discount back? Only option I see now is but 365 again. How greedy!

Please help.

    Hello,

To help check why your charity discount is no longer being applied, could you clarify a few details?

    1. What is the exact subscription name shown on your latest invoice?
    2. Did you originally get the charity discount directly through Microsoft or through a reseller or charity partner?
    3. Have you received any emails about changes to your subscription, pricing, or nonprofit eligibility? Please check your junk folder as well.

You also mentioned that the only option is to buy Microsoft 365 again. Which website or account page are you seeing this on? A screenshot would help, please hide your email address, account details, and payment information before posting.

Please hold off on purchasing another subscription while the existing one is being clarified.

    Hello,

If the charity discount was previously applied but has now disappeared, I’d first check whether the change is related to the subscription, renewal, or nonprofit eligibility.

    • Check the subscription: Review the current Microsoft 365 plan and compare its price with your previous invoice.
    • Check eligibility and renewal: Confirm that your nonprofit status is still active and look for any recent renewal or pricing emails from Microsoft.
    • Check the billing source: Verify whether the subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft or through a reseller, as this can affect how the discount is applied.

If the nonprofit status is still valid but the discounted price is missing, I’d contact Microsoft nonprofit or billing support before purchasing another subscription. Buying a second subscription could create a separate billing issue without resolving the original one.

If you share the subscription name, renewal date, and previous versus current price, others may be able to identify what changed. Just remove any account, payment, or organization-identifying information from screenshots.
