Hi,

Everytime my laptop brings up the windows passkey dialog box, it crashes. I have tried to go to settings>Accounts>Sign-In Options it crashes again so I can't even open that to check the settings etc

Thanks,

Becca

    Hi,

A repair install should solve the same but let me verify first.

Does the issue persist in a new Local account?

    1. Open the Settings app by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the gear icon.
    2. Click on "Accounts."
    3. Click on "Family & other users" in the left-hand menu.
    4. Under "Other users," click on "Add someone else to this PC."
    5. Select "I don't have this person's sign-in information."
    6. Click on "Add a user without a Microsoft account."
    7. Enter a username and password for the new account.
    8. Click on "Next" and then "Finish."

The new local account will now be added to your Windows PC.

Let me know if the passkey screen opens in a new account.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.
