Hello @Accounts,
Good day! I hope you are doing well.
To help provide the most accurate and effective solution for your issue, could you share a bit more detail about your setup:
- Is the database file an.accdb or.accde file?
- Did the issue start immediately after updating to Version 2608, or had the database been working normally on that version previously?
- Are you the only user experiencing this issue, or are other users of the same database seeing the same behavior?
- When you open the database, do you see any Forms listed in the Navigation Pane, or do you only see Tables?
- Have you tried pressing F11 to show or hide the Navigation Pane, and if so, does it change what is displayed? Access uses F11 to toggle the Navigation Pane.
If possible, could you also provide a few screenshots of what you are seeing when the database opens? Please remove or obscure any personal, confidential, or sensitive information before uploading the images.
This additional context will help us understand your environment and the steps already taken so we can tailor the guidance to resolve the issue effectively.
In the meantime, it sounds like the database's startup form may not be loading. In many Access applications, a custom form or dashboard is configured to open automatically, while the underlying tables remain hidden from day-to-day users. If the startup form or AutoExec process does not run correctly, Access may open directly to the tables instead.
Please check whether the form can be opened manually from the Navigation Pane, verify the Display Form setting under File > Options > Current Database, and see whether an AutoExec macro is present and functioning.

Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out for you together.
