I want to log in to copilot using my Gmail account not Microsoft account

I've been using copilot for a few months now I have it log in using google account and a lot of conversation are saved in that account. Now when I was logging in to copilot this time I accidentally log in using Microsoft and click my Gmail account for Microsoft log in. Now it automatically logs in to my Microsoft account, but I don't have any of the conversations I had saved from my Gmail account one it's basically a new account. How do I make it stop automatically login into my Microsoft account and just go back to asking me which method I want to use to log in. Also, there was one time I did manage to try and log in using Gmail but since I was already used my Gmail for that Microsoft log in I did it says I already log in using that Gmail and brings me to Microsoft which I don't want to cause my saved convos for months are not in there. The very reason I don't like Microsoft log in compared to Gmail log in is Gmail logs you in automatically Microsoft log in ask for either passkey or password which I don't want to do every time I go to copilot. I already submitted closing of the Microsoft account made with my Gmail so maybe I can log in back using my Gamil again idk.

    Hello JNJN

Thank you for reaching out and based on your description, what likely happened is that your Gmail address is now associated with a Microsoft account, and Copilot is automatically choosing that Microsoft account session instead of prompting you to choose a sign-in method.

In order to stop the automatic Microsoft sign-in, please try:

    • Sign out of Copilot.
    • Sign out of any Microsoft account in the browser.
    • Clear cookies/site data for:
      • copilot.com
      • microsoft.com
      • login.live.com
      • login.microsoftonline.com

Close and reopen the browser and access Copilot again

If you're using Edge, also sign out of the Edge profile or use an InPrivate window, because Edge can automatically pass your Microsoft account to Copilot.

The steps above apply for Copilot on the web, if you're using another version of Copilot or using Copilot app, please do let me know so I can provide further support.
