Pre-incorporation startup unable to complete business verification for additional Azure credits
AutoFlow is an early-stage startup currently participating in Microsoft for Startups and actively using Azure credits for product development.
My current Azure credits are scheduled to expire soon, and the Microsoft for Startups portal shows that additional credits may be available after completing business verification.
However, the verification process requires a business registration identifier such as a Tax ID, DUNS Number, or Business Registration ID. AutoFlow is not yet formally incorporated, so I do not currently have one of these identifiers.
I would like to know whether Microsoft for Startups provides an alternative verification pathway for legitimate pre-incorporation startups.
For example, can verification be completed using any of the following:
- Accelerator or startup-program acceptance
- Founder identity verification
- Company website and domain ownership
- Product and technical development evidence
- Other startup documentation
AutoFlow is actively developing and testing its AI infrastructure platform on Azure, and I would like to understand whether there is a legitimate way to continue progressing in the Microsoft for Startups program before formal incorporation.
Please advise on the available options for pre-incorporation founders.
