I reset months ago as hadn’t used for years, laptop in storage!

Now I have a black screen with blue box asking for password. I don’t have one or can’t remember putting one in after reset . Tried the f4 , f8 etc and nothing. Can’t get past this , help please. Thank you.

The black screen with a blue box is most likely not a Windows password, that is usually a BIOS password box, if so, you need to contact the laptop manufacturer to ask them for the instructions to reset the BIOS password, the method is device specific.

Please provide a photograph of the password box you are seeing.
