Blocked by Engage Center loop - Requesting Legal Name Change

Hello, I need to update my legal name on my Microsoft Learn/Certification profile to match my government-issued ID for an upcoming exam.

When I attempt to open a support ticket via aka.ms/credentials-support, I am automatically redirected to the Engage Center "Support for business" portal. In the product dropdown menu, "Microsoft Credentials" or "Learning" is missing, leaving me completely unable to submit a ticket.

Use the Learn profile settings first:

    1. Sign in to the Learn profile that needs the change.
    2. Open settings.
    3. Update the Legal Name so it matches the government-issued ID exactly.

If the profile shows a message that the legal name change requires further review, the documented next step is to file a ticket with Credentials Support.

For submitting that request, the documented support flow is:

    1. Go to online support request.
    2. Confirm Product family = Learning.
    3. Confirm Product or Service = Microsoft Credentials.
    4. Select the category closest to the issue.
    5. For Types of Support, select Professional No Charge.
    6. Enter location and time zone.
    7. Select Email as the preferred contact method.
    8. In the issue description, include:
      • a clear summary of the problem
      • the Learn username from Learn Settings
      • screenshots showing the redirect or missing dropdown options

Important details from the support process:

    • Credentials support is provided by email, not by phone.
    • The case number is shown after submission and also confirmed by email.
    • Case status can be checked online from the Manage tab.

If the support site continues redirecting to Engage Center and does not show Learning or Microsoft Credentials, the supported path in the available guidance is still to use the official online support request flow and include screenshots of the issue when describing the problem.

Thank you for the reply, but as stated in my original post, I cannot use that flow.
When I go to online support request link, the "Learning" and "Microsoft Credentials" options are completely missing from the product dropdown menu because it forces me into a "Support for Business" loop. I am completely blocked from submitting a ticket through that system.

Please escalate this to a human moderator so a Private Message can be opened to handle my name change manually.
