A few weeks into a newly bought realm i received and email about my payment not working for said realm. Despite this all my friends were able to log into it without any issues. I updated my payment and still get a "something went wrong try again later message"... i have signed out and back into my account. I've restarted my cpu, i've updated my game, i've updated my shadders, i've uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice. Nothing has worked and through all of this all of my friends still have been playing in the realm i am paying for without me for 2 weeks now.... why is doing anything with the ui of this game literally impossible? Why do i feel the need to have 6 browser windows open , the game, the mobile game and countless other stuff to figure anything out.... SOS

    Hi Christopher Reichert,

That sounds extremely frustrating, especially since you have been paying for the Realm while everyone else can access it except you.

Since your friends can still join the Realm, the Realm itself is likely still available. The issue may instead be related to the payment or subscription status not syncing correctly with the Microsoft account that owns it. Reinstalling Minecraft or updating shaders would not normally resolve an account-level subscription issue.

Please sign in to Microsoft Services & subscriptions using the same Microsoft account that purchased the Realm and check whether the subscription is shown as Active, Past due, Expired, or Cancelled.

    Also, could you confirm:

    • Whether this is Minecraft Java Edition or Bedrock Edition
    • Where the Realm subscription was purchased, such as Microsoft, Google Play, Apple, PlayStation, or Nintendo
    • Whether the same error appears on both the PC and mobile versions

If the subscription is shown as active but you still cannot access the Realm, I recommend contacting Minecraft Support and including the payment email, the exact error message, and proof that the subscription is active. They can investigate whether the Realm entitlement is correctly linked to the account. Please do not post any full order numbers or payment details publicly.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum, so contributors do not have access to account, billing, or Realm subscription records. I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, but I wanted to make sure you got the most accurate information about your situation. Thank you so much for your understanding.
