been having this problem for ever now, but about a month ago i made another ticket and the resolve was a driver call inpoutx64 i deleted that driver and was good and solid for about a month with no crashes or restarts at all and now all of the sudden, its happening again my pc will just random restart and leave no dump file, no event view error or anything, ive done a ddu scrub, ive gotten rid of all easyanticheat and ace anit cheat, but still my pc just crashes, ive changed psu, ive tried different ram, ive tired everything under the sun using the internet like the sfc scannow and the image restore and all types of stuff but astlas im still crashing randomly, i just dont know what to even try anymore, this is very frustrating cause im bed ridden and use the pc all day

no i dont touch anything in the bios, ive updated bios to most recent stable version but atlas my pc is still crashing

Sorry, I misunderstood.

First, have you checked if you have the latest Windows updates installed?

When the freeze occurs and the PC shuts down, does nothing appear on the screen? Does it take a while to turn back on, or does it happen instantly?

Does it happen during general use or with a specific game?

When it happens my pc just restarts, straight black screen like you turn off the pc and it restarts like normal like nothing even happened. Right now its happening with any game, i will start any game early it wont take a couple of hours to restart but now its very bad and when i start any game it takes like 3 minutes and it restarts and now its stuck like that

And yes i have the lastest windows update

At this point my about to completely reset the ssd and reinstall a fresh copy of windows and see where that gets me i guess

In this case, I agree with performing a clean reinstallation of Windows 11 using the USB method to rule out software issues and confirm if it is a hardware problem—especially since there is no BSOD, but the system simply shuts down three minutes into rendering a game.

If possible, after reinstalling Windows, please test with an older version of the AMD driver and ensure that only the AMD RX 7900 appears in Device Manager.

Hi,

That's good—I hope no issues arise. I recommend installing the motherboard drivers directly from the Asus website.

Check Device Manager to ensure only the AMD RX 7900 is listed.

Okay so after performing a complete clean install of windows and wiping my drive clean, everything seemed just fine so im like okay cool, let go ahead and install discord and a couple of launchers and steam, after installing these my pc was crashing again like couple minutes into a game any game, so i uninstalled everything expect discord but yet i would still crash bad, so i turn off the hardware accelerator and overlay and stuff on discord but still my pc crashes, so i performed another complete wipe and reset, i have not installed discord this time and pc seems to not be crashing anymore. But we shall see as i install some things but not gonna install discord and see what happens

Okayy so everything was going fine for about a hour and a half just sitting at the game meun where itd crash all time but then i decided to install steam and within 10 minutes my pc crashed so then i uninstall steam using the revo uninstaller and got it completely uninstalled, but yet my pc still crashed within 3 minutes of opening a game, so i did a chkdsk and windows fixed some files with 0kb in bad sectors, but i crashed like instantly when i open a game now

Hii,

Do the following to access the Bios to disable the AMD IGPU

Delete or F2 to enter the BIOS. Press F7 to switch to Advanced Mode if you are in EZ Mode.

Go to the Advanced tab at the top menu.

Select NB Configuration (on some newer or alternative BIOS versions, look under Advanced > AMD CBS > NBIO Common Options > GFX Configuration).

Locate Integrated Graphics or IGFX and change it to Disabled. (If unavailable, set "Primary Video Device" or "Initiate Graphic Adapter" to your dedicated PCIe/PEG slot instead).

Press F10 to Save and Exit.

Okay well before i do that umm now this has happened twice where my pc crashes and tires to restart but my motherboard get stuck on a green ligh solid, and wont boot until i hard restart it and then it will boot like normal, honestly should i just swap ssd from my other working computer into this one?

Hi,

That's correct. Keep that frequency, but remember that the settings reset every time the PC restarts.

Run a test using the 3DMark demo at that frequency and see if it freezes again.

Okay since i did that, i can actually start a game lol before it was so bad just instantly crashing, but what i dont understand is like how could i play for an hour and a half just fine and then install any program "it feels like", it crashed within 10 minutes and just geta worse and worse to where when launching the game it instantly crashes my pc like how does that make sense?

Since sfc, image restore, DDU, PSU, RAM swaps, and anti-cheat removal were already tried, the supported next steps are the standard Windows stop-code and unexpected-restart checks:

Remove any newly added hardware, if any was added before the crashes started again. Shut down the PC, remove the hardware, and test again.
Start in Safe Mode and check whether the random restarts continue there. If the system is stable in Safe Mode, continue the remaining checks from that state.
Open Device Manager by right-clicking Start and selecting Device Manager. Look for any device with an exclamation mark !. For any flagged device, right-click it and select Update driver. If that does not help, try Disable device or Uninstall device.
Check free disk space. Windows needs sufficient free space for swap files and other functions. Keep roughly 10% to 15% of the drive free.
Install the latest Windows 11 updates: Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
If the issue continues, use a recovery option such as a System Restore point or another option under Recovery options in Windows 11. This can roll the system back to a state before the crashes returned.

A few relevant points from the available guidance:

Unexpected restarts can be caused by a hardware device, its driver, or software.
When Windows does show a stop error, the stop code and sometimes the module name can help identify the cause.
If the screen is going blank without a stop code, that aligns more with blank/black screen troubleshooting than a normal BSOD path.

If the crashes happen with no dump file and no visible stop code, Safe Mode plus Device Manager and Windows Update are the most directly supported next checks from the available guidance.
