Problem with redeeming Minecraft gift card code with different region error

A region mismatch error can still occur even when both accounts show the same country. Microsoft gift cards and codes are region-restricted: the currency and code must match the Microsoft account’s registered jurisdiction, and the balance cannot be converted to another currency.

Try this redemption path first:

1. Redeem on the web instead of the app: go to https://www.microsoft.com/redeem.
2. Sign in with the exact Microsoft account that should receive Minecraft.
3. Enter the code carefully and complete the prompts.
