Can I make Word 2003 documents display in center of the screen?

HI ALL

I recently upgraded my computer's monitor, and I need to know if there is a way to make Word 2003 display properly on it.

The screen shot below shows how now the document is shifted to the left of the screen. I want it to be centered like it used to be.

Not sure if this if possible or not.

If Microsoft sold a hardcopy version of office still, I'd consider saving up for a copy, but it costs so much, and I don't want an offline version :-(

"Hardcopy" usually means text that is printed on a page. "Offline" means a program that doesn't need internet access. Perhaps you're thinking of a one-time purchase that doesn't require a subscription? If so, take a look at Office 2024 with Outlook or without Outlook. Once you activate one of those, you do not need internet access and can use them on your computer in a similar way to Word 2003.

Choose View>Zoom>Whole Page to center it while seeing the whole page.

This is what worked for me as well; if I have the Zoom set to 100%, the page is on the left (and if I add another page, I get two side-by-side pages on the screen)

There is no option to view WHOLE PAGE in my version.

Much of the help available here is only for recent versions of Word. Word 2003 will work in Windows 11.

Try increasing your Zoom to 250% in the toolbar or under the View menu.

I see what you mean... that sort of works, but then the document is too large. I was hoping that this was something with a fix across all versions :-(
