unable to redeem Microsoft reword code

For Microsoft Rewards redemption, this usually happens for one of these reasons:

1. Too many failed verification attempts If there have been too many unsuccessful phone verification attempts, wait 48 hours before trying again.
2. Phone number issue
   • The number may already be used on too many Microsoft Rewards accounts. The limit is 6 accounts per household per phone number.
   • VoIP numbers are not allowed for Microsoft Rewards redemption. Use a mobile or landline number instead.
3. Region or travel issue Rewards must be redeemed in the same region as the Microsoft account. Redemption can fail while traveling or if a VPN/proxy hides the actual location.
4. Temporary verification delivery block Verification codes may not be sent if there is unusual activity, too many repeated requests, or temporary SMS delivery limitations in the region.
5. QR code verification may be available instead of SMS If redeeming on the Microsoft Rewards website in a browser, select Verify with the Bing app when prompted, scan the QR code, enter the 6-digit code, and then return to complete redemption. This option does not appear in the Bing app itself and is not available for Auto-redeem.

Try these steps:

1. Wait 48 hours if multiple verification attempts were already made.
2. Turn off any VPN, proxy, or third-party security software temporarily.
3. Clear browser cache and cookies.
4. Try a different browser, device, or network.
5. If SMS is failing, try QR code verification with the Bing app from the Rewards website in a browser.
6. Confirm the phone number is a non-VoIP number and is not shared across too many Rewards accounts.
7. If an error says travel or region is the problem, redeem only from the account’s home market/region.
