How can I disable top bar in Hyper-V client in full screen Permanently.

While you can click the pin icon to make it auto-hide, the Hyper-V client is hardcoded to drop this bar down whenever touch input is detected at the top edge of the screen. This is a built-in safety feature designed to prevent users from getting stuck in full-screen mode without a keyboard. There is no registry modification or Hyper-V setting that can permanently disable this specific touch trigger.

To get a completely clear screen on your Dell tablet, you must switch to using the Windows Remote Desktop Connection tool to access your virtual machine. First, enable Remote Desktop within your Windows 7 guest operating system and locate its IP address. On your Windows 11 host, open the Start menu and type mstsc to launch Remote Desktop Connection. Click on Show Options, select the Display tab, and clear the checkbox next to Display the connection bar when I use the full screen. Connect to your Windows 7 IP address through this interface, and the top bar will be permanently disabled, preventing it from dropping down over your buttons.

We have the keyboard in window 7 (floating Docking keyboard). So stuck in full screen mode in not a issue..
I need to just disappear the hyper V connection bar OR make it very very smaller size or make it small button.

Khurram Aziz you can't shrink the connection bar into a smaller size because the dimensions of the connection bar in both the Hyper-V client and the Remote Desktop client are hardcoded by Microsoft and scale automatically based on your Windows 11 system display resolution and DPI scaling settings. There is no configuration file or registry key that allows you to independently make the bar smaller.

And you also can't move the connection bar to the left or right vertical sides of the tablet screen to act as a side button. In the native Hyper-V client, the bar is permanently locked to the top-center of your screen. However, if you switch to using the Remote Desktop Connection client as previously recommended, you do gain the ability to click and drag the connection bar horizontally. While you still cannot move it to the sides of the screen, you can slide the bar far into the top-left or top-right corners of the top edge to get it away from the center buttons of your application.

If sliding the bar to a top corner in Remote Desktop is still too intrusive for your tablet workflow, completely disabling the bar's visibility through the Remote Desktop Display options remains the only official, built-in solution to achieve a completely clear screen...
