Attempting to play Halo Campaign evolved, unable to sign into my xbox account, it says it is successful on my phone, but then Halo tells me that my login has failed. then attempt to login to Xbox account on my phone to peruse the settings to see what may be wrong, no luck. every single time it immediately logs me out with the message "you've logged out of all accounts, its a good idea to close all browser windows" blah blah blah. 2 hours later attempt to login on my pc, again, to no avail.

Then I try to contact microsoft support, only to realise they have the worst possible customer service despite being a multi-billion £ company.

I just want to play halo.

Please help me

    Hello, tyler garry

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Before we proceed further, may I know if you have any issues log in to other Microsoft games and apps? Also, can you log in to the Xbox website?

In the meantime, you can try to use this method to see if it helps.

    • Type "Credentials Manager" in the search bar and press Enter.
    • Select "Windows Credentials"
    • Remove all entries related to your account.
    • Restart your computer and try to log in again.

    Hello, tyler garry

Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides:
