Is there an option to postpone an upcoming Windows 11 update?

    While you cannot postpone a specific individual update, you have the option to pause all updates for up to 35 days.

    To pause updates in Windows 11:

    1. Press "Windows + I" to open Settings and select "Windows Update";
    2. Next to "Pause updates", choose how long you want to delay them.

    If you need more time, you can extend the pause before it expires. Go back to "Settings > Windows Update" and select a new end date (up to 35 days from today). You can continue extending the pause as long as you do so before the current period ends.

    Note: If you let the pause expire or manually click "Resume updates", Windows will automatically download and install the pending updates.
