How Do i Fix This Minecraft Launcher cant log in my Windows 7 Professional PC

Hi, I’m trying to get Minecraft Java Edition running on an Acer Aspire 5750 from 2011 running Windows 7.

I own Minecraft Java Edition through my Microsoft account.

I downloaded the Windows Legacy Minecraft Launcher, but when I try to sign in, I get stuck on:

“Face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key”

There is only a Back button, so I can't complete the Microsoft account login.

I also checked java -version in Command Prompt, and Windows says Java is not recognized, so Java isn't currently installed/on PATH.

What I'm looking for: a legitimate way to install and play a Windows-7-compatible version of Minecraft Java Edition on this laptop, preferably without upgrading the operating system because my laptop doesn't meet Requirements to Upgrade..

• Acer Aspire 5750
• Windows 7 SP1
• Intel Core i5-2430M
• 8 GB RAM
• Intel HD Graphics 3000
• 250 GB Crucial MX500 SSD

I'm not looking for cracked Minecraft or an account/security bypass. I own the game and just want to get it working legitimately.

craft Java running on Windows 7 with a Microsoft account, I'd really appreciate knowing exactly what launcher/version and Java version you used.
