How do I remove the current e-mail address I use to verify my e-mail?

If this is a Microsoft account verification email address, remove it from the account’s security info methods:

Sign in to the My Account page.
Select Security info.
Find the Email method.
Select Delete next to that email address.
Select Yes to confirm.

Important:

If the email address is deleted by mistake, there is no undo. It must be added again.
For work or school accounts, the verification email can’t be the work or school email itself.

If this is a personal Microsoft account sign-in or alias address instead of a verification method, go to Edit account info, then select Remove next to the existing address.

Hello,

If you have access to your current email address to Verify Your Identity,

Add a new security email address or authenticator app first, and then remove the recovery email address.

You can do that by signing in with your Microsoft account on the Security Settings page here-

https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage

Click 'Add another way to sign in to your account'.
Add another recovery email address or authenticator app first.
Then, remove your email address.

Once done, your new security info will be updated.

However, if you don't have access to that email to verify your identity,

Select I don't have any of these on the Verify Your Identity screen, and follow the prompts to replace the Security information.

Note -

If you remove all of your previous security information and replace it with something new, your account will be put into a restricted state for 30 days.
