    Repairing from Control Panel is required for older versions of Windows. From the Start menu, search for Control Panel and click to start it. Choose to sort by small icons and go to Programs and Features. Locate your version of Office, select it and click Change (or Modify). Choose the type of repair you want. An Online Repair is more thorough, but note that it requires a reinstall of Office. Therefore, you should verify that you can access your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services and that your Office product is associated with it.
