Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
To file a verification appeal in Partner Center, use an account that has one of these roles:
- Global admin
- Compliance admin
- Account admin (MAICPP-specific)
- Manager or Owner for Developer
If the account does not have one of those roles, a Global Admin, Account Admin, or User Management Admin can assign it in Account Settings > User Management.
Then submit the appeal:
- Sign in to Partner Center.
- Select Settings > Account settings.
- Open Legal info.
- Select the Verification Summary link, or use go here under verification status.
- If the page shows Resolve or User Action Needed, select it to start the appeal.
- Upload supporting documents that exactly match the Partner Center account details, including legal name, business address, and domain.
- Select Submit.
Important requirements for the documents:
- Business verification documents can include articles or certificate of incorporation, business license, registration, or certificate showing dates and business information.
- Domain verification documents should show business name, address, domains, and purchase and expiration dates from an authorized registrar.
- Self-written documents, screenshots, and unofficial materials are not accepted.
- Documents should be legible and directly address the verification issue.
Additional notes:
- Appeals are available only when the verification summary shows Resolve or User Action Needed.
- Up to three appeals can be submitted.
- After submission, the status changes to show the review is in progress.
- Verification status can be checked anytime in Account settings > Legal info.
- If key account details such as company name, address, or email domain are updated, the verification process restarts and previous appeals are not carried over.
