I am the Global Administrator for our Microsoft 365 business tenant, and I have been completely locked out of my account for several days with Error 500121. I already have an open support case but have received zero response or follow-up from support.

I urgently need this escalated to the Data Protection and Tenant Recovery team to reset the MFA registration for my account so I can regain access to our tenant. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help escalate this so I can get a call back.

    Hi @Mohammad Zishan

I understand how urgent this situation is, especially since you have been unable to access your Global Administrator account for several days and have not received a response to your support case.

Unfortunately, community members cannot view the status of an existing support case, contact the assigned support engineer, transfer the case to another team, or escalate it internally. For security and privacy reasons, only the authorized support team can perform these actions after verifying your identity and tenant ownership.

To better understand the length of the delay, may I ask approximately how long the support case has been open and when you last received an update?

Also, since you already have an open support case, please continue replying to the assigned support engineer through the existing email conversation and follow up regularly for an update. You can also check the engineer’s email signature to identify which team is currently handling the case. If the signature does not indicate the Data Protection team, please ask the assigned engineer to confirm which team is handling the case and request that the case be forwarded to the appropriate recovery team if necessary.

Please avoid sharing your case number, tenant ID, administrator email address, or other sensitive information publicly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope the assigned support engineer provides an update soon and helps move your case forward.
