Hello,

I recently purchased the Microsoft 365 Personal Monthly subscription through Google Play (Transaction ID: GPA.3397‑0641‑3820‑83399..0). The amount charged was ZAR 159.00.

I attempted to request a refund through Google Play, but it was declined under their policy. I am now reaching out directly to Microsoft for assistance.

Could you please help me with:

Confirming that my subscription is active and correctly linked to my Microsoft account.

  • Clarifying the billing discrepancy (charged R159).

Advising on next steps if I need to resolve activation or billing issues directly with Microsoft.

    Kindly take note that refund policies varies from platform to platform as it will also be their decision or discretion from their end.

    With regards to the confirmation, you can check your account at https://myaccount.google.com/payments-and-subscriptions and have a look from there.

    As your subscription is with Google, please take note that Microsoft will not interfere with this and you can also see the official support link below and reach out again to Google to appeal or request again for a refund.

    If you are to use the subscription on your device that is on Android/Google, you will need to login with your Microsoft account that was used when you purchased it via Google as this is ones associated with it.
