    1

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to System - Display.

Ensure the Scale Percentage and the Resolution is set to the entries labelled (Recommended).

    2

If that does not resolve the problem, if you are using a PC with an external monitor, press the menu button on the bottom of your monitor to bring up the on-screen menu and try using the Aspect Ratio or Autofit setting to get the full image on your screen.

    3

If you are still unable to resolve the problems, I need some details about your system

    A

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.
Expand the Display Adapters section, please provide a screenshot of that full Device Manager window.

    B

If you are using a laptop, what is the make and exact model number of the laptop.

Or if you are using an external monitor on a PC, on the back of the monitor is a label, what is the make and exact Model number of the monitor.

    C

Please provide a screenshot of the Settings - System - Display settings window.

Try these Windows 11 display settings in order:

    1. Open Settings with Windows key + I.
    2. Go to System > Display.
    3. Under Scale & layout:
      • Set Scale to the recommended value, or try 100% if everything is oversized.
      • Set Display resolution to the recommended resolution for the monitor.
    4. If text is still too large, go to Settings > Accessibility > Text size and move the slider left, then select Apply.
    5. If only some apps still look too big, sign out and sign back in so scaling changes apply to those apps.

If using more than one monitor, make sure the correct display is selected first in Settings > System > Display before changing scale or resolution.
