How do I refresh my word documents. [REMOVEDPII]@gmail.com

No visible scroll bars on either side or bottom of the screen. Nor will clicking bring them on.

No space on the side of documents, word doc is open to the edge of the screen.

Tried saving both header and footer, the footer appears when opened, but neither are visible in full page view.

When open I am unable to view my bottom taskbar unless I close the word doc.

The entire document reacts as if new. Yet I have been using it for years.

    Hello jennifer petto,

    It sounds as though Word’s display settings or window position changed, rather than the documents themselves. This can hide the page margins, headers, footers, scroll bars, and Windows taskbar.

    I recommend trying the steps below:

    1. Open Word and select View > Print Layout. Make sure Focus or Read Mode is not selected.
    2. Move the pointer to the very top or bottom edge of a page. When it changes to a double-pointed arrow, double-click to restore the missing white space, including the header and footer areas.
    3. Select File > Options > Advanced. Under Display, check Show horizontal scroll bar and Show vertical scroll bar, then select OK.
    4. If Word still covers the taskbar, right-click the Word title bar and select Restore. You can then resize the window so it fits correctly on the screen.

    If the issue continues, please confirm whether you use Word on Windows or Mac and which Word version is installed.
