Renewed 365 Suite directly with Microsoft. Was successful in updating Excel, but will not let me activate Word or Powerpoint

Was successful in activating Excel but when trying to activate Word or Powerpoint the prompt says I need Sonoma 14.0. I have Ventura 13.78 and my IMAC says software is up to date. Cannot load Sonoma 14.0.

My IMAC is 5k , 27 inch 2017.

What do you recommend?

    If you're using macOS Ventura (13), please note that Microsoft only supports Office up to version 16.101 on this version of macOS. Any newer Office release requires macOS Sonoma (14) or later.

    If your Mac cannot be upgraded beyond Ventura, uninstall your current Office apps and install Office version 16.101, which is the last compatible version for macOS Ventura.

    According to John Korchok's article at https://www.brandwares.com/bestpractices/2023/03/most-recent-office-you-can-run-best-practices/ , under macOS Ventura, you should be able to run Office 16.100. You can install that release from the Office update history page at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac .
