Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hi, @Hugh Roth
You can use your Microsoft 365 subscription on the new Mac. The license is linked to your Microsoft account, so it does not need to be manually transferred from the old Mac.
However, macOS Ventura 13 is no longer supported by the current Microsoft 365 apps. Microsoft states that version 16.101 was the last Office build that supported Ventura. To receive current Office and security updates, the Mac needs macOS Sonoma 14 or later.

To help narrow this down:
- Can the new Mac be upgraded to macOS Sonoma 14 or later?
- Is your subscription Microsoft 365 Personal or Family?
- Does it show as active here: https://account.microsoft.com/services?
