I am getting these error message and can not get the updates to install.

How much free space do you have on the C: drive?
Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?
Do you have any VPN software installed? (Even if it's not running at the moment) If yes, which one?

Free Space: 234 GB free. I do not have any 3rd party antivirus install. That was removed 1st as fix. I did have McAfee which came when I purchased the PC. I don't think I have any VPN software installed. I didn't purchase any. If there is a way to check I can do that. Also here is my OS Build

When McAfee was uninstalled did you use their clean-up tool. MCPR. Unfortunately their website seems to be offline currently.

The problem is certainly not storage space.

Regarding the antivirus, I also recommend using McAfee's MCPR tool to remove any remnants it is known to leave behind on the PC. These leftovers can still negatively impact the system, including Windows Update and its related tools.

Uninstall McAfee from a Windows PC using the MCPR tool

As for the VPN, you can check the Control Panel. If you have a free VPN installed that is affecting your network connection, it likely installed a network adapter.

Press "Windows + R", type ncpa.cpl and press Enter.

A window will open with the network adapters installed on the system. If you want, share a screenshot of this window.

If the problem persists even after using the MCPR and you have confirmed that you are not using a VPN, I recommend upgrading Windows 11 to version 25H2 by performing an in-place upgrade using a Windows 11 ISO.

It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

1 = Download the ISO file to perform the procedure:

Access the link below;

Download Windows 11

Under "Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices", click "Select download" and select "Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO for x64 devices)";

Click "Confirm";

Choose the language and click on "Confirm";

Then, click "64-bit Download".

Wait for the download to finish and proceed to the procedure below.

Double-click the ISO to run;

The screenshot shows two different update errors, so fix them separately:

Fix 0xC1900101 first This error is usually caused by a driver problem. Try these steps in order:
1. Make sure there is enough free space on the system drive. Windows needs at least 16 GB free for a 32-bit OS or 20 GB for a 64-bit OS.
2. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates. Run Windows Update more than once until no more updates are offered.
3. Update any third-party hardware drivers from the device manufacturer’s website.
4. Unplug extra hardware that is not required for basic use, such as USB drives, external disks, docks, printers, scanners, and similar devices.
5. Open Device Manager and look for devices with a yellow exclamation mark. For any affected device, right-click it and choose Update Driver Software or Uninstall.
