Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
Many integrated cameras are blocked by proprietary software or antivirus tools even when Windows privacy settings are turned on:
- Check apps like Lenovo Vantage, Dell Optimizer, MyAsus, or HP Privacy Settings to ensure "Camera Privacy Mode" is turned off.
- If you use third-party antivirus, check if it has a Webcam protection feature, and make sure the feature is not blocking Zoom.
If that doesn't help, please check if a message is displayed in the camera's Device Status in Device Manager.
- Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";
- Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";
- Expand "Cameras";
(If this category is not displayed, let me know.)
- If the camera is listed, right-click and select "Properties". Check if there is an error in "Device Status".
If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.
Also, share a screenshot of your system information.
- Press "Windows + R", type
msinfo32and press Enter.
Maximize the window and use the screenshot tool.
