New update for One Note Version 2608

One Note was updated on September 8 and when I use it now, it jumps. I will be writing and it jumps so that part of my writing ends up above or below the line I am writing on. What can I do to fix that?

    I tried reproducing the behavior you're experiencing, but I couldn't find any insights into it.

    Therefore, I suggest trying these steps to see if they help resolve the issue:

    1/ Repair the app on Windows

    • Close OneNote and go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
    • Find OneNote, select the three dots, and choose Advanced options.
    • Run Quick Repair first. If the problem remains, run Online Repair.

    Note: If you're using Windows 10, go to Settings > Apps & Features > select OneNote > Modify > Repair

    2/ Test without add-ins

    • Press Windows + R, then Enter onenote /safe
    • If writing is stable in Safe Mode, disable add-ins through File > Options > Add-ins, then restart normally.
