Unable to save or print excel files

I am unable to save or print excel files - greyed out commands. I have Microsoft 365 and renewed my licence in January 2026

As I am 84 and not computer literate I would like someone to talk me through this problem please

    There are some reported problems with the Office apps on an Apple Mac device at the moment.

    At the top left of your Mac desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?
