How to quickly remove version number from files, keeping the base names

Is there a way in Windows 10 (a script or a tool) to quickly remove the version number from all files in a map, while keeping the orginal base names?

Try Bulk Rename Utility (free). Link: https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/

Run the app and select the folder containing the files you want to rename.

In the right pane, select the files you want to rename.

In the Remove(5) section, select Special in the dropdown.

In the Crop text box, type the following:

(*)

Enable the Trim checkbox.

Click the Preview button.

If everything appears as desired, go ahead and press Rename.User's image
