In recent days, i am facing the issue (The Activation server reported that the entire request contained one or more invalid key types.) to activate the OS.

Please help me to resolve my problem.

    Hi Ganesan C,

The Volume Activation Management Tool's proxy feature is hardcoded to support only Volume Licensing, specifically Multiple Activation Keys (MAK),cand Retail keys. It fundamentally does not support proxy-activating BIOS-embedded OEM keys. When VAMT forwards an OEM installation ID to the Microsoft clearinghouse, the activation server instantly rejects the request because OEM licenses are restricted from utilizing this centralized proxy channel.

To resolve this and successfully activate your offline clients, you must use your VAMT server to transition the devices to an enterprise Volume Licensing model. Since the machines already possess base OEM licenses, they qualify for volume upgrades. You must use the VAMT console to push and install a standard MAK key to these offline clients, which will seamlessly overwrite the embedded OEM keys. Once the MAK product keys are applied to the Windows 11 operating systems, your VAMT server will successfully gather the new installation IDs, complete the proxy activation with Microsoft, and deploy the Confirmation IDs back to the clients without triggering the rejection. Alternatively, you can deploy a local Key Management Service (KMS) host on your network, allowing the offline clients to activate against your internal server rather than relying on internet proxies.
