Oracle Data Access Client (ODAC) for Power Automate - "Execute an Oracle Query"

I need to build a flow in Power Automate with the component "Execute an Oracle Query"

I installed an On Premise Data Gateway on the DB server but this component doesnt work.

I read that in order to use this component I need to install an ODAC on the server.

I looked for a download link online, and found just the ODAC Xcopy Downloads and saw it's not enough for this. and need not the Xcopy one.

I would love your help to where the download link for ODAC.

For the Power Automate Oracle Database connector, Microsoft specifies that ODAC 11.2 or later, including the 64-bit Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET), must be installed on the same computer as the On-premises Data Gateway using the Windows installer rather than the Xcopy package.

Oracle's .NET and ODAC downloads page is:

I haven't been able to verify which non-Xcopy installer is currently available on that page.

Could you share:

The exact Oracle download-page URL you are using?

The complete error message returned by the Execute Oracle Query action (with any credentials or sensitive connection details removed)?

That information would help determine whether the issue is related to the ODAC installation, gateway configuration, or Oracle client connectivity.

Hello,

The error messege I get by the Execute Oracle Query action is

"BadGateway"

When I use "Get Rows" I get data successfully.

I dont understand which ODAC installer I need to download on that page.

Since Get Rows works, I recommend testing the Execute Oracle Query action before changing the Oracle installation. The BadGateway message alone does not establish the underlying cause.

1. Test a minimal query

In a test copy of the flow, use the same Oracle connection and gateway that work with Get Rows, and run the following query in Execute Oracle Query:

SELECT 1 FROM DUAL

This is a diagnostic test to determine whether the native-query action can execute successfully.

2. If the minimal query succeeds

The issue is more likely specific to the original query or its result. Reduce the returned rows and columns, and then test the query again.

The Oracle connector has the following documented limitations:

The action times out if query or stored-procedure execution exceeds 110 seconds.

The maximum response size is 8 MB.

The maximum request size is 2 MB.

Native queries can return only one result set.

RefCursor and OUT parameters are not supported.

3. If the minimal query fails

Check the installed On-premises data gateway version. Oracle native queries require gateway version 3000.63.4 or later. This is the minimum version required for the feature, not a recommendation to install that older version. Use a currently supported gateway release.

If the detailed error indicates an Oracle client or provider problem, verify the Oracle installation on the gateway computer. Microsoft documents the following requirements:

ODAC 11.2 or later

64-bit Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET)

Installation on the same computer as the On-premises data gateway

The Windows installer version rather than the Xcopy package, because the Xcopy version does not work with the gateway

Regarding the requested installer, I could not verify a currently available non-Xcopy package that exactly matches the installer referenced in the Microsoft documentation, so I do not want to recommend an unconfirmed download.

If the minimal query still returns BadGateway, please share the failed action’s complete Outputs, including innerError if present, after removing credentials and sensitive connection information. If the minimal query succeeds but the original query fails, please share a sanitized version of the original SQL.
