    The Copy & Paste problem is a widely reported bug in Excel caused by the latest Office update (KB5002914).

    Try uninstalling that update and restart your PC.

    If you are unable to uninstall that update, open Command Prompt by right clicking its icon and select 'Run as Administrator', then run one of these commands, depending on the version of Office installed on your PC.

    If that did not resolve the problem, then you will need to wait for Microsoft to release a patched update to fix the Paste bug in Excel, the best option is to open Excel, go to Help - Feedback - Report a concern and report this to their Office developers there.

    They have not announced any update for this bug yet, did you report this on the feedback panel in Excel.
