Hi, hoping a Microsoft for Startups team member can help unblock this.

Timeline:

  • Sep 2, 2026: Submitted Founders Hub application (Milestone 2, $5,000 Azure credit)
  • Sep 2-3, 2026: Application declined with no reason given ("We couldn't verify your startup")
  • Sep 3, 2026: Opened Azure Support Request 2609030030000379 asking for the specific rejection reason and a manual review
  • Sep 6 & 9, 2026: Checked back — ticket remained Open with no support-agent reply
  • Sep 9, 2026: Sent a formal follow-up on the ticket
  • Sep 11, 2026: Support agent replied with: "Declined Reason: New/Low Info LI" — no further explanation
  • Sep 11, 2026: Replied asking what "LI" refers to (is it the LinkedIn profile used for identity verification?), what would need to improve, and whether a re-review is possible
  • Sep 15, 2026: No further response (4 days and counting)

Questions:

  1. Can someone confirm what "New/Low Info LI" actually means?
  2. If it's the LinkedIn profile used for verification, what specifically needs to improve for a re-review to succeed?
  3. Is a re-review of Milestone 2 possible at all under the current process, and if so, how do we request it?

Milestone 1 ($200) is active and unaffected — this is specifically about the $5,000 Milestone 2 business verification credit. Business is an ASIC-registered Australian Pty Ltd (English Language Experts), all documentation verified and available.

Any help getting a substantive response on this would be greatly appreciated. Happy to provide the SR number or any documentation needed.
