Never had this problem before with copilot but ever since Y'all updated it it just crashes and i cant even re open the saved conversation without it crashing even on edge it crashes

    Good day. The fact that Copilot also crashes in Edge is important. This makes it less likely to be just a problem with the Copilot app on your PC.

    Though there are similar issues, there isn't enough evidence to confirm that the update itself is causing the crashes. It could also be related to a specific saved conversation, account data, or a Copilot service issue.

    For now, try starting a completely new conversation in Edge without opening an older saved chat. If the new chat works, try opening a different saved conversation.

    If new chats also crash, I'd avoid repeating app reinstall steps since the same issue occurs in Edge. Given when this started, it's also worth watching for further Copilot updates or service fixes.

    If only saved conversations cause the crash, let us know. That would be a useful clue that the issue may be related to the saved chat data.

    i mean it works if i dont try to open the older chat logs but i hate having to make a new conversation each time

    Since the app then crashes when opening an older conversation, this may be related to the chat history or Copilot service instead of the installation itself.

    I think there have also other reports of similar problems with Copilot conversations after the recent changes. That doesn't confirm the update is the cause, but given the timing, let's keep an eye on further Copilot updates or service-side fixes.

    For now, just avoid repeatedly opening the affected chat if it consistently causes Copilot to crash. If possible, note whether new Copilot chats work normally while older saved chats cause the crash.

    i tried that but then the the thing just crashes all over again i even tried to re-install through UN-install did nothing at first the app couldnt even find my old chats and eventually when it did find it sure the browser not the app let me go into it the app did not just crashes completely after showing me an old link i was looking up through co-pilot
