The magnifier app buttons don't always register

I also want to add that I've written several tickets about this in the feedback hub. I'm not sure if anybody is reading those tickets. So the issue I have with the magnifier app, which is used for visually impaired people, is that the close and minimize buttons don't necessarily register. When you attempt to close and minimize the app. This is clearly a malfunction with the program. Other programs running on Windows don't have this issue. I wonder if this bug is associated with the scale that I use in the display settings. However, again, I don't have this issue with any other program running on Windows, regardless of whether the program is a system app or a third party app.

    Welcome Everett Phoenix,

Thank you for taking the time to report this and for already submitting several Feedback Hub reports. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially since Magnifier is an important accessibility feature.

To help narrow this down, could you let us know:

    • What display scaling percentage are you using under Settings > System > Display > Scale (for example, 100%, 125%, 150%, 200%)?
    • Does the issue occur when Magnifier is in Docked, Full Screen, or Lens mode, or in all modes?
    • Are you using multiple monitors?

As a quick test, please temporarily change Settings > System > Display > Scale to 100%, sign out of Windows, sign back in, and then check whether the Magnifier Close and Minimize buttons respond normally.

I look forward to your update.
