You can sign in to Microsoft Edge without linking the account to your Windows system account. In Microsoft Edge:
1. Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Sign in or Set up a new profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account you want to use with Edge.
4. Windows displays a prompt asking whether you want to use the account across the device or automatically sign in to other Microsoft apps, choose “No, sign in to this app only.”
This allows the account to be used for the Edge profile and Edge synchronization without adding the account to Windows for use by other applications.
