Hello,

I am a student, and I am trying to activate Azure for Students using my personal Microsoft account.

For academic verification, I use my official university email address with the school domain .

During the verification process, I receive the following message:

“Your email domain is not currently registered with us. You can choose another verification method.”

However, no alternative verification method is displayed on the page. The only available fields are:

  • School name
  • Date of birth
  • School email address
  • Verification code

Previously, I was able to receive verification emails, but when I opened the verification link, I received:

“The client does not have access rights to the content.”

Now I no longer receive new verification emails/codes.

I also tried to contact Azure Support, but when I attempt to access the support portal using my personal Microsoft account, I receive the following error:

“The selected user account does not exist in tenant ‘Microsoft Services’ and cannot access the application…”

This appears to be an AADSTS16000 / tenant access issue, so I am unable to create a normal Azure support request.

Could you please advise how I can complete the Azure for Students academic verification?

Thank you
